As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Alexander feels passionately about helping others get back to the activities that keep them healthy and happy. Once a competitive figure skater who then branched out to rock climbing, snowboarding, kiteboarding, wakeboarding and more, she has first hand knowledge of the importance of healthy knees for an active lifestyle.

Dr. Alexander graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then completed her emergency medicine residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She is still actively involved in the Emergency Medicine residency as a resident educator and has been named as the Resident Educator of the Year multiple times.

She and her husband are the proud owners of an adorable golden retriever and love exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest together in their big blue van.
