After one of Reflex’s patients completed a marathon this spring, I decided to sign up for the Portland Marathon. As my training progresses, I’ll give regular updates.
I encourage everyone to sign up for some organized athletic event this summer. It’s a great time of year to get out on the trails, track, or roads.
It doesn’t have to be a marathon – you can sign up for a 3 km walk or 10 km run. You’ll be more likely to stick with your fitness plan, when you participate in an organized event. It will help you set and meet goals
Knee health is directly effected by the amount of extra weight we carry. Getting involved in organized exercise events will greatly help your ability to make the right lifestyle decisions that contribute to a lifetime of joint health.
