Congratulations on making the decision to do something about your knee pain and coming in to see us at Reflex! We know in the medical world that a visit to a doctor’s office is not always pleasant. That’s why from the moment you walk in the door, we are here to make your appointment easy and enjoyable.
Although we are conveniently located just off Hwy 217 in the Lincoln Towers, we all know traffic in the greater Portland area can be unpredictable. So, please consider the time of day your appointment is scheduled and plan accordingly for some possible delays. If you arrive early, we would love to get to know you over a cup of coffee!
When meeting you for the first time, we will get your information set up in our system. To do so, we’ll ask for your photo ID and Insurance Card. Since we are looking at your knees you will want to wear loose pants or bring shorts. This way, one of our providers can evaluate you more thoroughly.
We want to know as much about you as possible and your intake documents are how we get the information we need. Whether you schedule over the phone with us or through our website, we can send your first visit paperwork attached to an email or through the paper post. This way you can complete it whenever is convenient for you! If you don’t have time to complete your paperwork before your visit, do not worry. You can come early to your appointment and we can help you with any questions filling it out.
We are here for you and your needs with knee pain – we want to hear about it! Your appointment will be approximately one-hour long. During this, you will be able to meet your personal Clinic Care Coordinator and your provider. Education is very important to us at Reflex and we strive to make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed during your visit. Feel free to get to know your provider before you come in by reading their biography.
At the end of your visit, you will be given a complimentary evaluation summary that includes: your diagnosis, recommended treatments, cost of any treatment (both with and without insurance), and direct contact information to your Clinic Care Coordinator for any future help.
