Dr. Riggs has over 22 years of experience in the medical field. He founded The Active Joint
Institute, a Utah-based medical clinic which provides non-surgical treatments for
musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis. He has performed thousands of knee
injections and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Reflex Provider team. “One
of the most rewarding aspects of my career is to see patients get back to the activities they
enjoy–horseback riding, skiing, hiking, or simply getting down on the floor to play with
grandkids.”
Dr. Riggs also founded the Restore Medical Institute, an educational network of physicians who
collaborate on advancing regenerative medical treatments that are evidence-based and
effective for patients. He loves to be on the cutting edge of research and offer state-of-the-art
treatments that focus on the root cause of the condition rather than simply mask pain.
When not working, Dr. Riggs enjoys hiking, swimming, racquetball, pickle ball, board games,
and spending time with his family.
